MOOD 8: ECO-BATHROOM STUFF

How green can your bathroom be ? Chrome and glass fittings may be there for sure but you can add a touch of eco-bathroom stuff. Featuring some of our oldest characters, namely Mr. Toothbrush Stand ( at the back), Mr. Colonial Soap-tray ( with the green soap) and Ms Stand Soapdish. As you can see, names are pretty arbitrary at our end ..mood ayaa toh .....kuch bhi chalega !!

These soap-trays and toothbrush stands last a cool 20 -25 years --yes, you will get sick of them but they will soldier on. Ask our friends and clients who have been using theirs since 1996 ...yup, they are still going strong !!

Green is the way to go now !!

MOOD 7: THE GREAT INDIAN BAMBOO LADDER OR WARDROBE ORGANIZER

You have seen ladders and plenty of them, I am sure. But have you ever seen a ladder with hooks on the sides??And so many of 'em??
Great for a teenage girl's room - you don't have to ask them to clean up - scarves, bags, jewellery, caps and what-have-you can be just hung on this.
Or if you choose, you can use it in the bathroom or your room for a smart textile display or ties or duppattas, or whatever.
One of the hottest selling items during our exhibitions !!

This is an early design from The Earth & Grass Workshop but quite a popular one.

MOOD 5: MADHUBANI FISH CANDLE STAND

Combining materials, skills and traditions can result in amazing objects. This hand-crafted bamboo candle stand with its exquisite fish painted by Pradyumna Kumar makes me oh! so happy. The sinuous fish reminds me of how creatures move in water - performing graceful ballets choreographed by God.

My Object Of  Desire .... aka MOOD is a collection of objects that I like. Appreciate. Adore. Create. Curate. Crave for. Desire desperately.  MOOD reflects my tastes. Showcases all things that I think are beautiful, creative, aesthetic, worth having. For the little time we are here in this world. Alive and breathing.

The object could have been made by me. Or anyone else for the matter. Perhaps an artist or artisan I work with. You can own it, gift it or leave it behind for others to enjoy.

If you would like to know more about the object, please write to me at minhazzm(at)gmail.com
